Obama: Ignorant and Arrogant
Obama is so lacking in experience to tout that he is now targeting McCain’s running mate Sarah Palin saying that he has more executive experience than her. Ooooookay…too bad Sarah Palin isn’t the one running for president here.
Of course you must be wondering how Obama, someone who has never held a government administrative position could possibly have more executive experience than Palin, the governor of Alaska. It’s because he’s running a presidential campaign, he says. That’s right…Obama thinks that because he is running a presidential campaign, that makes him more experienced than a governor. Wow… Get a load of some of the ignorance that pours from his mouth:
“Well, my understanding is that Governor Palin’s town of Wasilla has, I think, 50 employees. We’ve got 2,500 in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe $12 million a year. You know, we have a budget of about three times that just for the month. So I think that our ability to manage large systems and to execute I think has been made clear over the last couple of years,” Obama said.
What is he talking about?!? What does Wasilla have to do with ANYTHING??? Yeah, she was the mayor there at one point, but she is the GOVERNOR OF ALASKA now where she manages a budget of billions of dollars and has about ten times the amount of state employees as Obama has campaign employees. This alone should prove that he’s not qualified to be president, because he can’t even seem to remember that Sarah Palin is the governor of Alaska and not still the mayor of Wasilla. A John McCain spokesman pointed out another fallacy of Obama’s argument:
“For Barack Obama to argue that he’s experienced enough to be president because he’s running for president is desperate circular logic and its laughable. It is a testament to Barack Obama’s inexperience and failing qualifications that he would stoop to passing off his candidacy as comparable to Governor Sarah Palin’s executive experience managing a budget of over $10 billion and more than 24,000 employees,” said spokesman Tucker Bounds.
It is unbelievable to me how despicably arrogant Barack Obama is. He talks about change and getting away from the dirty politics of Washington blah blah blah. Well in case no one’s noticed, these are the same dirty politics of Washington that you always see. He is ignoring the facts and making irrelevant discussion to criticize something that he has no legitimate criticism of. Rather than compare his experience to John McCain, the person he’s actually running against for president, he compares it to vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. And then rather than compare his experience to Palin’s experience as governor, he just ignores the fact that she’s governor and talks about her mayoral experience.
I’ve got it, Obama! Why don’t you compare your experience to your vice presidential candidate, Joe Biden? Maybe that’s because you’d be reminding everyone how grossly unqualified for president you are compared to him. And it’s pretty pathetic when you have to resort to citing your experience running a campaign as a qualification for the presidency. It wouldn’t be quite as bad if that were coming from an independent candidate who doesn’t have millions and millions of dollars to pay other people to make all his decisions for him. But even then, it would still be outrageous.
